The Abbott Infusion Pumps (IVAC Signature Gold 7130) is a single channel volumetric infusion pump that allows independent programming on both sides. It can be used for general IV infusions, antibiotics, blood infusions, enteral infusions, TPN and hyperalimentation, and lipids. Its monitoring options provide increased awareness of occlusion detection and battery charge condition. It also has add-on features like dual-rate piggyback function and panel lock.

A multi-step program function in Alaris infusion pump allows a sequential program to deliver up to nine rates and volumes. It can also be programmed using volume and time. Multiple infusions can be preprogrammed over a period of up to 24 hours. It also has features like delay start and loading dose. It has computer interface for remote monitoring and rotating pole clamp for pole or bed-rail mounting. Drug-specific dose rates can be calculated by selecting a drug name, which will then display on the screen. It is highly recommended for epidural infusions and optional flow sensors.
